The Medicine Basket

Meet Megan Michael, CFNC, LMT. Her career
as a wellness practitioner has led her through
all kinds of health landscapes, working with
hundreds of clients. It has taught her that our
bodies are a symphony of systems that are
dependent upon one another in order for us
to thrive. For true healing to happen the
whole person needs to be acknowledged. We
cannot treat the symptoms while ignoring the
root of the problem and expect ourselves to
be healthy. We have to broaden our
perspective and realize that the root cause of
physical pain can often be emotional,
spiritual and/or mental
.

Globe Mallow Studios

About the artist. A Northwest girl at heart, Jen
settled in the desert of Southeastern Utah,
drawing inspiration from nature. Her father
passed down his jewelry making tools from
his gold nugget jewelry days in 1980s Alaska.
Carrying these tools for a couple of years, she
eventually taught herself how to use them,
transforming wire, sheet, and stone

into wearable works of art. She creates

jewelry for both everyday wear and

adventurous pursuits
